Larry '70 and Pam '70 Morgan were part of Mount Vernon Nazarene University's founding "Pioneer" class, and the institution became integral to their lives and faith journey.

"The Pioneer years were special and unique," Pam recalls. "It was an education grounded in truth," Larry affirms.

Having met at the tender age of seven, Larry and Pam became high school sweethearts, and both felt led to attend the nascent college in Mount Vernon. "We are kept by the Spirit to serve in His good works," they express.
At MVNC, Larry felt God's calling to ministry, leading to decades of service across Ohio, Kansas, and Florida.
Grateful for their blessings, they have chosen to share their resources with MVNU. Residing in Mount Vernon in retirement, they regularly reconnect with old classmates, alumni, and friendly faculty. MVNU is a consistent thread in their lives. Pam especially enjoys participating in Giving Day-a wonderful occasion uniting the community in celebrating and supporting MVNU.
Their carefully arranged estate plan accommodates family, church, and worthy causes like MVNU. Their gift to MVNU's endowment will help fund the University's future aspirations, reflecting their hope for generations of families to choose MVNU for its positive Christian influence.
